Visible Roofers

How it works

The questions roofers actually ask us.

Straight answers, in plain English. No buzzwords, no funnel-speak. If you've got a question that isn't here, the audit conversation is the place for it.

Q1

What is this, in plain English?

It's getting your company named when a homeowner asks an AI for a roofer — not ranking on a page, being in the answer itself.

People are starting to skip Google and just ask ChatGPT, or read Google's AI summary at the top of the page, or ask Copilot. The AI says something like "a few well-reviewed options in your area are…" and lists a handful of companies. Our whole job is getting yours to be one of the names it says, as often as possible.

Q2

How's that different from the SEO I've already paid for?

SEO competes for a spot on a fixed ranked list. AI writes a fresh answer every time and names only a few companies. There's no list to hold a position in.

Your Maps ranking still matters and we don't throw it out. But ranking #1 on Maps doesn't mean an AI knows you exist. More than half the businesses winning local search are absent from AI recommendations. Ask the same AI the same question 100 times and the list of names changes nearly every time — which is exactly why "your AI rank is #3" is a number nobody can honestly give you.

Q3

So what do you actually do?

Four things, in roughly this order.

  1. MEASURE We ask the engines your real service-area questions, many times, and count how often you show up. That's your baseline.
  2. PROFILE We fix your Google Business Profile — the spine AI leans on hardest. Fastest, most fixable lever.
  3. REVIEWS We check your rating against the floor AI requires. If you're below it, that's the first job — honestly.
  4. PROOF We build the third-party signal AI trusts — video, directories, real mentions. Slow, unflashy, durable.

Then we keep measuring, because the field shifts in weeks and a setup that worked last quarter can quietly stop. The full reasoning is on the methodology page.

Q4

How long until I see something?

The profile work moves fastest. The third-party proof is the slow, durable part — months, not days.

We'd rather set that expectation up front than have you feel misled later. AI search is still a small slice of traffic today; it's growing fast and the recommended slots are scarce. Being one of the few names early — before your competitors get there — is the play. Anyone promising overnight AI visibility is overselling.

Q5

What if my reviews aren't there yet?

We'll tell you straight. AI applies a rating floor — below roughly 4 stars, you're left out no matter what else we do.

If you're under the floor, no amount of optimization gets you reliably recommended until that comes up. Fixing reviews becomes the first real job, and we'll say so rather than take your money and work the edges. To be clear: that floor is the best evidence available from the research, not an official rule anyone published — we hold it honestly as evidence.

Q6

What does it cost?

It starts with a paid audit. If you move forward, the audit fee is credited toward the work.

The audit is a real measurement — your inclusion frequency, your review standing against the floor, the technical fundamentals — not a sales call dressed up as a report. Ongoing pricing depends on how many metros you want covered. We'll walk through the exact numbers in the audit conversation; we don't believe in hiding them, and we don't believe in quoting them before we know what you actually need.

Q7

How do I know it's actually working?

You get a frequency with the sample size — "7 of 10 this week, up from 4" — every cycle. Real, checkable, no invented rank.

What we won't hand you is a precise count of leads "from AI." Homeowners don't say "ChatGPT sent me," and the clean attribution data doesn't exist yet. We instrument your intake as well as the tools allow and stay honest about the line between what's measured and what's inferred. If a number is shaky, you don't get it — pending beats wrong.

Start with the number.

The audit points the whole system at your business and tells you how often AI names you right now — and exactly where the gaps are.
